I have 7600 with chase. I offered 3,000 which is 40%, what more can they want right... so they say 3500 is their lowest, which is about 46%. Now she said it will go into litigation next... so what do i do? should I take it for another 500? or wait to settle with litigation? any advise? thanks!

After it goes into litigation, they will tack on attorney fees and court costs. At that point, once they have actually started a lawsuit, they're not going to settle that low anymore. (The purpose of them offering settlements is so that they don't have to file lawsuits). After all, if they get a judgment and can garnish wages, why should they want to settle anymore when they can get paid-in-full?

Personally, I'd cough up the extra $500 to take care of it now. You could end up paying over $8000 if it goes to court.
