I have a settlement agreement with Unifund and I asked my husband to send them a certified check along with a copy of the agreement, certified mail.
Well he did everything correct but instead of sending a certified check he send them a regular check.
Should I be scared that they will now have our banking information? Should I close our checking account something i DON'T want to do.
Is there any possible way of calling the bank and telling them to only let that company withdraw what the check is written for?
