888-513-7945 - Has anyone worked with Check Resolutions?

Check Resolutions are filing charges for: Theft of services, deliberate attempt to defraud a federal banking institution and passing of a bad check. She left me a case # (148021-E) and the phone # 888-513-7945.
Do Process servers generally call & warn you that charges are being filed? She also called my mother(!!) and told her all the same stuff.
Should I bother calling back or is this just another scare tactic from a pdl from 2007??? I've never had any dealing with Check Resolutions and when I googled them, it looks like they are just collectors for pdls. They seem to be getting smarter as Jennifer spoke with no accent and all the other nasty phone calls have been from Indian-accented people. (Not trying to be politically incorrect or anything, just seems strange to me that a man with such a thick Indian accent would be named Steve Austin (The 6 million dollar man or Stone Cold??)

Here is another thread with others who are having the same problem, it's a bunch of BS. Next time he calls his name will probably be Jack Smith.

Good gosh, these people ust never quit, how I wish I could be the voice on the other end of the phone when these scumbags call and make bogus threats.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the room when they train new employees. I wonder what kind of background and experience you need have to work at these places...must not be much..LOL

i would not take anymore calls from them.. even if a summons is to be served, you would not be warned first, they would simply serve you and not harrass you.
i would report them to the FTC and attorney general's office, the threats they are making are just scare tactics. legal lenders do not use these tactics usually so i doubt they can do anything but harrass you.
