They have sent you an id theft affidavit. If this account is not a id theft,then ignore it and tell them to try again. Contact them in writing and tell them to prove the account belongs to you.

If they thought it was not your account at all after reading your dv letter,then they would send this.Some also send it to fish for personal info.

yea i thought so as the letter they want you too fill out ask a lot of personal questions and it also says not valid without a signature. they could take that signature and apply it some where else.

Rule of thumb,never give out any more info than necessary.This applies to collectors and creditors.Protect your private info so it does not get put at risk.

Miller, did you check your latest credit report to confirm if afni is reporting anything negative? You must go through it for once and protect your credit ratings from getting tarnished.

Yes they are reporting it that is why I had sent the letter of validation to them.They are also reporting a sprint bill. i have had neither services. i am with verizon and have been with them since i think 1995. they also have a att account on there. And they have me at three different address and states in the same time frame i think they get names simalar to another name and use it.ohio has been my residents all of my life.these agencies will grasp at any straw they can.
