Hello I need help on how to respond to a citation saying I am being sued and need to respond to the dallas county clerks office within 20 days or a default judgement can be placed against me. This is for a credit card debt that was past its SOL in june of 08 date on this being first filed is sept 08. Investment retrivers is the plaintiff and I just need to help with written response to the clerks office

A complaint came, but I just looked online and see that on 1/16/09 they had a dismissal hearing and on 1/29/09 an order of dismissal for want of prosecution was issued and the case is now closed. So should I just reply saying I now consider this matter closed as well and request any further proceedings regarding this issue follow the proper notification guidelines provided by law. I believe there is a 30 day period for them to file to reopen
