I was sued my Alan Adkins representing for Citibank, I ve been in the process of settling these accounts with a settlement company and they wouldn't agree to a settlement. I filed an answer at court and lawfirm responded that they cannot validate the debt at this time. I have status conference set for May 19, wanted to know if any knows, if the Alan adkins law firm normally appears if they are 5-6 hrs away from court filed in!

If they appear, then you can explain your situation to judge or the court appointed counsel. You can inform the court that the debt has not been validated. Make sure you attend the conference with your lawyer for he/she may explain your case in a better way. If they don't appear, then the trial date may get delayed.
