Hello all;
I have a huge debt with Citibank, and unfortunately I will not be able to save enough funds to settle with them before they most likely send my account to an outside collection agency.
Anyone out there know who Citibank often uses?

We have a huge unsecured debt with CitiCard in default since Sept07. We were told that they do not usually negotiate settlements. On my recent credit report I saw that they had charged it off in Sept08. We started getting harassing calls a month ago from a collection agency claiming to represent them and on 2/20/09 we got our first settlement offer at 75% of the balance due in a lump sum (ha ha). The company's letterhead says The CBE Group and their address is Waterloo IA and they called CitiCorp their "client."
