Being Sued by Citibank for past Debt. Need Help ASAP Please!
I received a Civil Summons/Complaint from Citibank NA attorney for a past debt that I owe. The only things they have attached is an Exhibit A showing a billing statement from May of this year and then filing costs for the complaint. There is no date for a hearing or anything it just states that I need to respond within 20 days of receipt of the Summons or judgement by default may be taken against me for the relief demanded in the attached complaint plus costs. I'm not sure what to do or who to contact about this. Do I need to contact Citibank or the Attorney for Citibank that is listed? I'm also confused as to why there is no court date listed on any of these documents. Can anyone help me?
