Send a debt validation letter because you have the legal rights to know about the debt they are collecting for.
One can insert your name anywhere but it must have a legitimate purpose. Use your legal rights and get the debt validated by Credigy.

There are supposed to try, at least. Often, it seems, debt collectors are either unwilling or unable to do the legwork. Still, if you don't answer a lawsuit, things much worse than a phone call from a debt collector will follow. It's better to be sure.
