civil complaint

I received a civil complaint in the mail from Nudelman, Klemm & Golub. I sent them a letter in November explaining that I never had a credit card with Washington Mutual and asking that they send me some type of correspondence regarding where this came from and when. I never received anything and now I get a summons in the mail to go to court. Can anyone tell me what I can do from here?
Did you have a card with providian??? Washington Mutual bought
Did you have a card with providian??? Washington Mutual bought up all of their accounts.
Have you pulled your credit report?
Respond to the summons, stating you have NO knowledge of such a debt, that the DV you sent was not responded. Hopefully you have a copy of the DV and mailing receipt.
