Hello I have about 6 unpaid Payday Loans from last March, I am trying to work with a debt consolidation place that specializes in Payday loans but I am afraid of what will happen if I get served with paperwork before I can get this done. If I am served with Civil court paperwork what do I do?

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
If the court papers are served to you, then you have to reply to it and attend the court hearing. You can consult with an experienced attorney in such a situation. The attorney will help you draft the reply without making an mistake. He/she can also negotiate a settlement with your lenders provided they are licensed in your state. You also have to defend all the complaints made against you in the summons. If you lose the case and lenders secure a judgment against you, then they can garnish your wages.

I would advice you to work with the debt consolidation company after checking it's credentials. You should also check whether all your lenders have license to work in your state. If they are not, then all you need to do is pay the principal amount. If they are legal, consolidate the loans to repay debts comfortably.
