Hi!!
Im really confused! I dont understand too much about the credit situation, i lived in new jersey from 2003 to 2007 in 2006 i went to the er for some pain that i have, the bill was 4,100 i received the bill and i went to ask for help (charity) i completely forgot about it, move to florida in 2007 by april, in 2008 i received a letter telling me something about a court, i call the doctor, and we talk and we agree in 100 dollars montly, unfortunally i couldnt make more than 4 payments because i lost my job, i called them again and i say so!, went to my country, and i came back after 3 years, i mean, i was traveling from here to my country all the time because i opened up a small business over there, well the thing is that in checking my credit repor and i found out i had a civil judgement, i have noo idea what that is, what do i have to do now, i live in fl, that was file in new jersey, if i have an appartment (cash) now will they owned it also??? Im so confused i dont know what to do, or who to ask for help , the bill is 5 years old, please tell me what to do.. Another thing is if i open my credit cards in new jersey and ive been living in miami since 2007 what state is the sol from??? I hope you could help me! Thank you very much

Since you have not made any payments on the debt, so the creditors/collection agencies have filed a lawsuit against you. The creditors/collection agencies have won the case and a judgment has been issued against you. This mean that they can garnish your wages/bank account or put a lien on your property. You'll be liable to pay off the judgment. However, as you had no clue about the judgment, so you can make an appeal to the court for vacating the judgment.
If you open a credit account in New Jersey, then the Sol period will be applicable on that state.
