I have an account with Client Services out of St. Charles, MO. They are collecting on behalf of Bank of America, which was closed last year with overdraft fees totaling 900 dollars (a mess which was created due to payday loans.) I have paid Client Services 250 dollars thus far. I had set up for Client Services to take out 50 bi-weekly from my debit card. Things ran smooth for a while and then a representative called stating I would need to call bi-weekly with my credit card number and make the payment as they could no longer automatically put the payments though.

My last payment with client services was on 6/18 and I hadn't called in since today. The representative I spoke to was very rude and demanded I pay the total 650 dollars. He demanded I borrow from family. I told him I was not able to borrow from family and would like to continue making payments. He refused to allow me and stated he would tell BOA I was refusing to cooperate. Though I have fallen through on some previous arrangments and this account is old, I'm still willing to pay my debit. However, I don't know how to proceed from here as Client Services does not seem willing to work with me anymore.

I did call BOA and all they said was I had to work with Client Services.

Any advise? I was thinking of just mailing them a payment.

I really don't want to be sued by BOA.

Any advise would be appreiciated.

Thanks!

i would send a DV and C&D letter immediatly.they sound no better than allied interstate who were collecting on my
national city debt.

i know you want to pay this, but you might have to force this CA
to recall it back to B of A.to do this you will have to send those
letters.since you made payments and they are acting like that, you have every right to request validation and for them to
cease phone contact.also throw in that any calls will be recorded.check your state law about if you are a one party or two party state.

I was in the 'same boat', at one time. I was working with a CA, about an account I had from Cash Call. Cash Call 'sold' my account to a place and i was making payments just fine...until, I called to make arrangements on one of the monthly payments. They said they were " not obligated to do this", and they stated, according to my Oral Contract with them, my monthly payments were going to go up soon. I told them I din't agree to that ..THEN or now. They RUEFUSE to take anything less than what was agreed. I use to make payments by Moneygram. Any suggestions?
