What does a "valid" validation contain. I had a collection agency call me and the payday loan they are collecting on was paid a couple of years ago. I told them I will need the information in writing, so he sent me a page with the
ORIGINAL CREDITOR: Pack Management Group LLC , (found out not legal in IL)
CREDITOR: SKW Capital LLC V (I don't know what that means)
ACCOUNT#...XXXXX.
....
CLIENT ACCOUNT#XXXXX
BALANCE $682.33
Then a couple lines written about how I need to pay immediately in full!
On the bottom is a paragraph "unless you notify this office within 30 days that you dispute the validity.....bla bla
Is this a Validation? Doesn't seem like enough information to me, like the original amount of the loan, how much was paid etc.......

That's not validation, that's "verification." They've verified
That's not validation, that's "verification." They've verified you're the correct person, who the original owner of the account was, and how much is supposedly owed.
You need to respond requesting "validation." You want to see the original signed contract. They need to prove that you owe the debt, not just that they have an account with your name on it.
