I received a collection letter from National Credit Adjusters for a payday loan that was in 2009. I am a resident of Tennessee. I sent in a debt validation letter and I sent it return receipt... I received a notice back from this Saturday in the mail. It was a very basic letter stating it was the Loan Agreement and Federal Truth in Lending Disclosures. It did have an amount but it stated that I owe them WAY more than I borrowed. It stated that I had to make one payment of 1,102.50 on 9/18/2009. I only borrowed 4-500 dollars and I "renewed" it about three times. So I guess what I am trying to say is that what is on this "Loan Agreement" is wrong. What do I need to do now... Please help...

since the stuff they sent is inaccurate they didn't validate.resend the original DV and wait.do not call them until they can validate.the wrong deposit amount gives you the opportunity to resend the DV letter.btw NCA is a LDB(loan debt buyer)who again is a bottomfeeder that won't sue.

PayDayOne was the original lender. I am in the state of Tennessee. I don't think it was a rollover, but I do know that it was not a 900 dollar loan and that is what these papers say.

I have already sent that and got back a very generic "contract" with a Truth in Lending Disclosure... And if I remember correctly, the amount that they say that I had deposited was wrong... I think they loaned me around 4-5 hundred and they said that my first payment was 900 bucks... There is no way I would have agreed to that... I think that they just basically sent a generic form letter saying that Payday one was the original lender and then just came up with this amount.... I just don't know whether to contact them or not.... I don't want to get sued but then again, I don't think what they sent back to me is correct information and I think they just sent tis generic form letter. Nothing is showing on my credit report either so I don't know what to do? I knowthat if I call, they are going to want the complete amount right then, and then I would have justified the debt and I don't have 1500 bucks...

Hi. I had taken a payday loan out (a couple at the same time) and could not keep up with the roll over payments nor did I have enough to pay them off in full. My bank account was closed. The original loan amount was 800.00, this one was actually structured to pay them back monthly. Now it has been sold to a collection agency who wants me to pay them 1800.00 dollars. I want to clear this up, but cannot pay that amount. Any advise? Can they tack on a thousand bucks worth of interest? State of MI. Lender is in MI.

since plain green is an illegal tribal you only owe the 800.00.also anything debited gets deducted from that.if you havr their address send them a C&D.again a loan buyer and a bottomfeeder at that.unless nothingat all was debited you owe 800.00 and that is if nothing was debited ever.get the c&d out asap cmrrr.

Bottom Dollar is an illegal offshore lender so it is actually irrelevant if you have the paper work.

Dear NCA

Creditor: Bottom Dollar Pay Day Loan

I hereby demand you cease and desist any and all contact with me and anyone associated with me. Bottom Dollar Pay day loan located in Nevis, The West indies. They hold no license to lend anywhere in the US and as such, the loan itself was null and void. I more than likely over paid. Govern yourself accordingly

Send this letter certified mail, return receipt requested.
