I received a message in the form of a post it on my desk from this company telling me I owed a debt for a credit card, which I do, but the guy I talked to when I called was pretty abrupt. Said they hired a locator company and they must have come to my work and left a message? I told him I haven't received any paperwork or anything and he said I wasn't going to. That Credit One sent me plenty of info and that I shouldn't have ignored it. Offered me a payment arrangement and settlement. I have read some posts on here and it looks like they are shady, but since the debt is real, what are my options? Do they have to send me a vaidation of debt letter? He said I committed a "breach in fraud" and that I am in "pre-litigation". Honestly, he scared me, so I just am curious about my rights. Help??!!
