I do not know whether this is the right place. I have been experiencing harassment from a collection agency. I have told them not to call me at 10 in the night since I do not stay up that late. But they keep on calling me. I have also asked them to give e certain amount as at this moment I can;t repay the debts in full.
Then on advice from Katherine, my friend, I filed a complaint with the FDCPA. However, harassment hasn't stopped totally.
I know that they have received the letter from the FDCPA.
Now, can I do anything else?

You can approach a genuine debt settlement company. They will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf to reduce the outstanding balancing amount. And by the time, you will stop receiving those incessant collection calls.

The FDCPA is a law. It’s not an agency. Are you referring to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau?

There is only one option left. Contact an attorney who knows the FDCPA laws very well. File a lawsuit against the collection agency for the violation of the FDCPA law. If you win the case, you can win $1000 as cash reward plus the legal expenses you had to bear.
