contacting Palisades Collection agency

I have tried to contact Palisades collection agency since finding a report on my credit report. I have paid of an old account with AT&T/Verizon and have a receipt, but I have tried to call the numbers listed and am told that the company is no longer with Palisades. I can't get any information on this company. Does anyone have any ideas?

Why are you trying to contact Palisades? Is it because you think they were trying to collect on your old AT&T account?
If you do a search through this forum, you will find a lot of information about this collection agency. Please be wary when dealing with them. It is a good thing you have documentation that you have paid off your account.
