cannot make it to court

I am injured and can't get to court for my hearing. Who would I have to contact to find out how I should deal with this.
If you have answered your summons, then I would call the clerks

You can call the clerks office, and they should be able to tell
You can call the clerks office, and they should be able to tell you how to file for a continuance. I am sure they see this happen frequently, and is routine for them.
