can a credit card sue u for breach of trust. I had a credit card for 300.00 and fail on hard times and now a different company is trying sue me for "9000.00"

I do not see a breech of trust case here. Seems like you are dealing with a collection agency. You need to provide some more information:

1. Which state do you reside in?
2. When did you make the last payment on this card?

Did the collectors tell you their name? For the time being, send the collectors a DV request to shut them up.

If the OP is being sued, a DV is too late and won't do a bit of good. You need to request documentation during discovery, namely you want to see a signed contract and the last statement. You want to make sure that what they are claiming you owe is actually what you owe and not trumped up interest rates and such.
