888-480-4406 anyone knows this company?

I received a called this morning and i have been receiving them everyday on mywork phone.From this number 888-480-4406. THis guy is stating i have 4 hours to meet up with him and collect a payment .He said that i have been writing bad checks .I don't even own a check book. I Don't like checks. SO he gave me a case number but when i called the number back he left on my vm it says CRS..i don't even know who CRS is i don't write checks.. How do i get these people to stop bothering me they called all thru the day back to back on my work phone..Really back to back..I need help and they also call unknown..but i recieve the number from the vm message.Any advice what to do

I'm sure it is a scam. There are companies which use these tactics to scare people to pay them. File a case against their harassing calls with the police and ask your phone service provider if they can block this number.
CRS is a collection agency. They can either be Clear Receivable
CRS is a collection agency. They can either be Clear Receivable Systems or Capital Recovery Systems Inc. I think you should avoid the calls.
