is a threat of prosecution the same as a threat of arrest and if so does this violate the fdcpa

yes it is.debts are civil matters not criminal ones.threatening arrest is an fdcpa violation.who is the bottomfeeder that did that?

ok so now i have him threatening prosecution of my wife, giving his name, his direct phone number, and an attorney in the family that will do things for me for free....what is the next step? Should I contact my attorney generals office? the attorney generals office in his state? Should I call him back and record his threats again? In louisiana only one party to a conversation has to be aware that the conversation is being recorded so I am covered there... your thoughts????
