Ok so I have been getting calls from this wonderful (cough) collection agency. Its regarding a credit card that I apparently forgot about...I only charged 36.72 on the things...but anyways CSC wants me o pay 800.00 on it. My question is they spoke to my husband who is not on this account and tried to set up pymt arrangements. Are they allowed to disclose the information to him without my consent. You need to send them a debt validation letter asking them for a detailed description of charges. Also tell them to cease and desist calling you. They have to provide that info and cease calling under the FDCPA!
