Dbag collection agency and what should I do?

Another question in a seemingly endless litany of issues. I currently have been in contact with a CA collecting for InstantCashUsa. I've requested a DV and was told to log into my account with said company for a copy of the contract. Now I know I didn't sign anything- it was all done via the web. The CA is asking for more money than I legally owe. I've filled them in on KY state laws and their reply was"just because you see something on the internet and you want it to be true, doesn't mean it is". Aren't CA's supposed to send you something before they start calling? And when I asked for DV- shouldn't they provide something clearer than telling me to log into the illegal lenders website? How shall I proceed to best protect myself? I've already told them I will pay WHEN I can (which is not now). They are illegal and per my DFI I don't even have to pay them at all (only morally- which I was planning on doing anyhow). I think I've followed all the steps in the illegal lender thread but just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything.
Any advice is appreciated.

Actually, according to the federal law (FDCPA Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) a collection agency must send you a dunning letter (letter of collection) via the mail 5 days after their first initial contact with you, this way you will be able to request a validation of the debt. Do not admit or deny to owing this debt, give them the above information and tell them you will not log into their website, nor will you make ANY arrangments without proper documentation, as required by the federal law. If they are any type of legit collection agency they will already know this. By the way, a collection agency can NOT add interest and fees onto an already owed debt without a signed contract by the debtor.

The agency is ARMofFL ,btw. I'm not sure if they are bottom feeders or not but they seem to be aware of this forum. And as far as the dunning letter- is it 5 days from their 1st call to you or 5 days from when they physically talk on the phone to you?
Thanks!

From their FIRST call. Check out Bud Hibbs website, there's some interesting information about this company at that site.
