Equifax removed tNational credit adjusters from my credit report. i have the monitoring system. i recieved an alert. i was from none other trying to put the info back on my report under another name. so beware they are using the name of INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL SE . thankfully equifax caught this and sent an automatic dispute. so now i am filing a complaint on them.

I filed an online complaint with the bbb and my ag last night.so i hope something will be done with this dumb company. oh yea and the funny thing is today i got a letter fom them that said enclosed is copies of the information you requested in your letter dated 6-5-07. i will expect the balance of 540.00 in my office by july 5 2007.the information was nothing more than a computer print out that said esignature page. which by the way i can print out because the web address is at the bottom of the page. i typed it in my browser and a few different numbers and suprise i was looking at esignatures from several people. and amazingly that is all it is. it tells date of loan amount and first payment due. so in my opinion anyone could print out a few of these and call someone on the list and say hey you owe me a few hundred dollars.
so i can hardly think that this stupid company would think any one would fall for that. i know i am not going to.and they should be in trouble due to the fact they kept reporting after i ask for vod. i cant wait till they are out of buisness.at the bottom of the page that they sent me it says date printed 6/5/07 funny the said the letter dated 6/5/07. how did they get it the same day i wrote it?it was actually received 6/8/07. they are such retards.

Rip I disagree. Most agencies have real good lawyers to defend them and if suit is filed, lawyers first action is motion to dismiss for failing to state a claim/cause of action. Consumer attorneys know when in Federal court they had best have their evidence or the suit will be dropped before an answer is even filed.

ok guys and gals, here is some food for thought.

1--someone mentioned that they sent a DV letter and got no reply, but then the CA listed the debt on their credit report. This is 100% illegal. The fdcpa does not permit a CA to continue collection activity if a DV has been requested, until they answer it. They didnt answer it, but continued to take action against you. Send that CA a letter via certified mail RRR IMMEDIATELY and tell them that you will file suit on them unless they, within 30 days of receiving this letter, remove the entry from any and all credit reporting agency files that they have placed it on. At the same time, dispute with the credit bureau--tell them that you dispute the account because you requested that the creditor validate it as yours, and the creditor has refused to do so. Chances are good that the CA will verify the account to the credit bureau as accurate--if they do, you will also have the CA on a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

2--to RIPFYI, sorry to tell you, but this is incorrect. The average person that is contacted by a CA doesnt even know that they can file a suit to protect their rights, so you need to do better than that.

3--to rlg, I would suggest contacting the credit bureau, as well as that CA, and demand that they pull this entry from your credit file because it was fraudulently put there. Even if it shows up as having a zero balance, that is a collection account and it will hurt your credit. Also, who did you receive that notice from? The credit bureau, I assume.

first of all if you want an agency to stop calling you have to send and ceast and desist letter, you can find them at fdcpa.com .... to ensure they got it send it certified mail with return receipt. just telling them to stop calling at home doesnt do anything, now you tell them at work# and they have to ceast calls. again they can continue to call hp# or cell# until they have something in writing stating otherwise./
