Help I have gotten some nasty threats from these guys. They (Charles Bush) are threatening me saying they will have me arrested for writing a bad check. I had a payday loan and could not repay it right away so it was put in collections and this guy is now threatening me what can I do? I am a sickly person and don't want to go to jail. He called and asked for a credit card number and now refuses to send me an e-mail confirming our repayment deal so now I don't know what to do anymore. Someone please help if you can I live in NH.

Delanor Kemper & Asso. has violated the FDCPA laws by saying that you'll be arrested. Moreover, criminal actions are prohibited in NH. Did you give them the credit card number? Don't give any info about yours to anyone over the phone. Ask them to validate the debt by sending you a mail through US postal mail. If they don't, file a case with your Attorney Generals' office and the FTC.
