Has anyone heard of Delmarva Capital? They have been calling my daughter about an old US Bank account. She is younger and makes very little money. They are really trying to intimidate her. She asked for a debt verification letter and they refused. They said she had to make a payment first. She really does not have the money to pay it in full at all but they keep saying they will not make payment arrangements.
she should not talk to them again until they send something in w
she should not talk to them again until they send something in writing.in fact per the FDCPA they are required to send a letter 5 days after initial contact.the fact that they won't is a red flag.again have her demand something in writing and she won't even speak to them until she gets it.
