Should I keep or discard the store card?

I have taken out a store credit card for purchasing a laptop for my father living in Calexico. The credit limit on the card is $150. I have no use of this card. What should I do with it? Should I use this card for making a few purchases? Should I close the account right now? Which option will be better?
