:D So far, I have had 5 accounts deleted from my
credit report. I only have 3 more that need to go.

I disputed LVNV funding with Trans Union
back in January and they supposedly verified it. I disputed it again today.

I disputed another company and they have about 13 days left to respond.

I had another debt collector on my report and I forgot I disputed it and when I called today, she said it is off my credit report. on 3/6/08 it was there but around
4/10/08 it was removed, it was also removed from
Experian!!!!! I still need to check Equifax but I was told that once one removes it, they tell the other Bureaus to remove it also.

I haven't looked at my FICO score yet and I am going to wait till the end of the year and SURPRISE MYSELF!!!

I am hoping for about 700 as right now is probably
around 560 because of the fraud on my account.

Think that is a possibility to go up that high by the end of the year?

That and because LVNV doesn't report correctly on their trade lines, they have a nasty habit of listing it as a open account, usually as some type of loan and as a factoring company account. This makes it list as a regular trade line damaging your FICO score much more than a regular collection trade line would.

YES JCEMT!! I argued with the lady at trans union that it is a debt collector and is in violation of the FCRA and fdcpa. She said when it says OPEN, it means it is not based on a payment plan and that it is due in one lump sum. I said B.S. and told her I want it off. My next step is file a complaint with the FTC.

Unfortunately the credit bureaus only favor the consumer when they have to. They make relatively no money from us and all their money from industries, especially those that use their services frequently. They even have sections dedicated to collection agencies, Transunion's is:

Sometimes you need to file complaints with the FTC, and your state Attorney General's office.
