Which laws & codes would this fall under?

I know about the FCRA and fdcpa, but what would govern Utility companies and companies like wireless internet, satellite or cable TV? The Fair Credit Billing Act seems to govern credit cards. So, I’m a bit lost as to what laws govern those companies?

Most of these are regulated and watched over by your state public utility commissioner. If they report on credit report then the fair credit reporting act would kick in. Personally I would use a fair credit billing act dispute and cc either your public comm. or Federal Communications commission whichever one they fall under.
