I just received a warrant in debt in the mail yesterday ( I didn't even know that was legal) and there is only a little over a month before my hearing in court. I don't even know what matter this is over. I do have past accounts that have been written off, but again I am unsure of why I am being sued. After everything I have read, I know I need to show up in court prepared. What exactly do I need to bring with me? Someone please help

Written off debts does not mean you no longer owe it. Written off/charged off accounts is an accounting term...the creditor moves the debt from good debts to bad debts. You still owe the funds.

A warrent in debt is basically a summons. If you are not sure who the creditor is, call the law office who filed the warrent. Have you pulled your credit report lately??
