I have had several cc's charged off, and a car repo'ed with a $12000 deficiency balance. I have hired a BK attorney, and have given his name and number to all of the collectors that have called me. It seems like every time I do this, within a couple of weeks, a new collector calls for the account. I do not know if they are just transferring the account, or actually purchasing them.
What I am really wondering about is if I should still receive a dunning letter after I give the the BK attorney contact info? And would it be better if I waited until I received the dunning letter to give the the attorney info? I am not sure it makes a difference, but maybe I should at least get the legal info from the ca before I send them to the lawyer.
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks

Give the information to your Attorney as you receive it. Perhaps
Give the information to your Attorney as you receive it. Perhaps it might be a wise idea to request your credit report so you can find as many creditors as you can before you officially file.
