I googled them and the only Frances, Edwards and Associates that came up was an architect firm. Next time they call ask for their address, email address or fax number, then ask for a debt validation in writing. I personally would not give them any bank information.

they are not legitimate
He called me today and refused to send me a letter validating my debt and make untrue claims that he was going to call my employer and have my wages garneshed. That is highly illegal. DO NOT send them any money. They don't exist and are a scam. The address he gave me isn't a legitimate address. I'm in contact with the Attorney Generals office in the state of Texas and we are trying to locate them. Contact your local Attorney General and file a complaint.

Daniel ballard is below scum!! not ony has he been calling my job repeatedly everyday fro the past 2 weeks!!!now hes is call my elderly grandmother in a whole nother state harrassing her leaving threating messages that he does not now what type of business we are running a my job but he can not get through !!!there has to be some way that the illegal practices that this man is using can be stopped i too have contacted my local attorney's generals office!!! not to mention he is probally operating under a fictitious name all together!!!!!!!

It's really a shame that these people can get away with this. I to have received calls at work, different name and phone number each time. I've just told my employer that my personal information has been invaded and to ignore the calls and hang up.

this is a real company btw francisedwardsassociates(dot)com is their website, they contacted me trying to reach my husband. mentioning the need to fax paperwork for hR SO I THOUGHT IT WAS WORK RELATED. thank god i didn't fall for it. i will not call them back.

i received a call from them too... francis is spelt Francis google it, they have been in business since 2010 and are in New York, however, never give your bank info until you have something saying that once debt is paid you owe nothing to original debtor and check it out, after 7-12 years you owe nothing to original debtor. i found out my original was an off shore account which was why i could not find them to pay my debt like i wanted too. it was 2 years old.

I would throw the law back in his face and then sue him when he breaks it. They cannot call you at work if you tell them they can't, they can only contact family to get your contact information and he already has that.
I would be calling HIM back. And I would tell him, like I told one guy who called everyone in our family (even my husband's ex-wife) that he is a low-life worm and that if he broke this law again, he would be getting sued. I never heard back from him after that.
They KNOW what they can and can't do but if they think YOU don't know, they'll do it. Go on the offensive with him, call him and quote some law at him!

Just got a call from them today at work, I previous requested to see the debt and wanted them to fax it to me. They claim it was something wrong with their fax so he stated that they mailed it to me inwhich I haven't received it. So, I told him to fax it to me, I'm in the office and he said that they will have fax it in a couple of hours because his associates are backed up. Show me the debt in writing and I will go from there. They must be thinking their dealing with an uneducated fool.....NOT!!!! If I don't receive it by the end of today I will file claim with the Attorney General now try me!!!!
