Request for entry of default Oh Boy...

Wow -I have dug myself into a good hole- Total CC debt 80k. Plus I have an investment house in foreclosure, upside down by about 140k.
Anyway, I have settled 13k of my cc debt and got another 7 on a hardship program. One of my cards, for 17k roughly sent me a letter that they would be seeking a judgment. Now, yesterday I received a letter in the mail from the lender. It was a court document called "Request for Entry of Default." I found through online reading that this is request when the defendant (me) does not respond to a summons.
The bad thing is that I never received a summons. So I just checked the court's online system. It shows entry of "proof of serve" by means of occupant at home. Well I checked with my friend, and she indicates that she was never served.
Now I'm wondering what my options are- and of course it's christmas eve, so nobody is open and I can't contact an attorney.
Thanks for any input.

I PRAY FOR YOU BE OKAY IN COURT AND I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CASE.

Check with the county clerk to see who served you and when, then file a motion to have the judgement dismissed for improper service. Some CA's never have you served in order to get a default judgement against you. This could be the case here.
