charge off now 120 days late

I just saw that credigy/stewart and associates have reported that i am 120 days late on my equifax report. It just popped up! This has been a charge-off for at least 4 years, and the item is even scheduled to come off the report in Feb 09!!!! What can I do???

Sounds as though they've re-aged your account in order to keep it on your report longer. This is sometimes done to increase pressure on you to pay up. It's also illegal as hell. Dispute it with the Equifax on those grounds, and sue the pants off of the collectors.
