Estate obligations

My son died 3 years ago. We are now selling his house and 2 judgements pop up against him from 4 and 5 yrs ago. What obligations are there for the estate? And how do determine if they are valid or if my son paid them off? State of Texas btw.

Without him being around to give you the information as to whether or not he was served, it will be impossible to prove if they are valid or not. The estate will have to pay them before the lien can be lifted and the house sold.

yes it does

whoever has the judgements can try to enforce the judgements with proceeds from the sale of the house.who are the two and how much is each judgement for?

One is from AIS Services for $16K and the other is North Star Ca

One is from AIS Services for $16K and the other is North Star Capital for about $6K. Both are debt collection agencies I believe.
