Lucky for me I live in Massachusetts. They must be licensed in my state and are not, so looks like I will be suing them soon.
Also under Massachusetts debt collection laws they have 5 days from the day they get my DV letter to send me a copy of the original signed contract or something bearing my signature, plus account history, statements, payments made and credits.
So now I wait, what else should I do? I can't pull my credit report to see if they are on there, I already did it once this year. Should I also report them to the state or should I wait to see what happens with the DV letter?
