I just received a call today and they said I should be getting servered from the court with in the next couple of days. I could how ever settle out of court by paying today or making arrangements to pay. I asked the guy (Robert Goldstein) if he could send me documentation so I knew it was lagit and he did, but now I am seeing all this stuff on line about them how they are a scam. What do I do? I am willing to pay a debt I owe, but not to a company that is a scam and I really can't afford to right now. Times are tuff.

I'm so mad at myself for falling for that. I sent a complaint to AG as well as FTC. Do you think any of these entities will assist in me getting a refund?

You got scammed basically. Never pay on a debt without having it validated. That is just asking for trouble. Moreover, you gave away personal financial information to a voice on the phone. You should absolutely avoid doing that. Complaining to the BBB is a futile exercise, they are just another letter writing service. You should really file complaints with the AG, the FTC and the county cops.

this is a bottomfeeding scam report it to your AG,and the FTC and ignore them.

I been paying them since OCT 100.00 a month. they wont send me any thing that shows my payments and they have withdrawn on dates I didn't approve. I am about to cancel my card because I think I was fooled

I asked them to send me proof that they were legit and they got angry and hung up the phone,, don't pay anymore and seek some legal advice or do some checking on the phone number the are calling from. If it is a 954 number it is associated with telemarketer's.. I started doing my own Home work !!!

Did you send them a request in writing?? Asking over the phone will get you nothing.

I have been harassed by supposebly david rosenburg who claimed to be a lawer saying they sent a bill and i need to reply there number is 9543170576 bbb has been notified also by me i am 15 yrs old and they have been rude to me assking for my info we are planing to take it to thhe next step by going to the media and other news rooms to warn others about these frauds they are stealing people identiity they shouldnt be contacted becuese they will call you on that number you used

These guys gave me a hard time I sent complaints to any entity that was willing to listen, and their argument was that I was trying to get out of paying my debt. Surely if that were the case, i wouldn't have eagerly forked over 498. thinking I was being sent to court. They vehemently denied ever saying that they were lawyers, they yelled and screamed and hung up on me numerous times. The response that they sent to BBB was even unprofessional and poorly written. I wrote to the AG and they got these scammers to send them a "document" which had nothing to do with me, just shows that they purchased a bunch of collections accounts over a year ago. Nothing with my name, ssn or anything else on it. I never got that "PAID IN FULL" document either. So after explaining all of that in writing to my bank, I got refunded. I have carefully combed my credit report to make sure nothing like this ever happens. But trying to resolve anything through these guys is a definite waste of time.
