Halfway There

I had four accounts and they have been all charged off , it was either food and shelter for the kids or credit card debt. I have been dealing with three CA and have settled with two. Client Services settled on a 8,000 Chase debt for $2,000. United Recoveries settled on a 13,000 Capitol One for 6500. I took the Capitol One offer because from what I heard on this thread they are tough.
United has the other Chase account (5000) and won't settle for less than 50%. Viking has the other Chase (13000) and also won't settle for less than 50%.
They have all been in charge off for 45 days.
Should I settle the remaining two for 50% or see if they will come lower which they have not budged from?
Call Chase and ask if they will the CA's to budge?
Any help is appreciated.

I don't think there is any point in calling up Chase and negotiating since the account has already been charged off and possibly sold to the collection agency. Your best bet is to negotiate with the CA itself, tell them that you are not financially capable enough to settle for 50% and try your best to negotiate.

You may make a settlement offer to them. But it fully depends on their discretion whether or not they will agree for settlement at a lower percentage.

Viking just settled on the Chase $13,000 for 35%. One to go. Would you pay these CA's by electronic check or mail a money order?
