Oh god not them,,,,they are a crooked bunch so be careful. If they sued you a DV letter will do no good. I don't know how the courts work in your state are you sure it is a subpoena or is it a summons??
The Statute of Limitations in VT is 6 years, so if it eventually comes to you that it is yours and has been longer than 6 years since a payment was made, they cannot sue you for it and if they do it can be thrown out of court......plus you can sue them for up to $1,000 for that violation.

If it's a subpoena for a financial disclosure hearing it sounds like they already got a default judgment. Check with the court to see if you were sued and if they got a judgment. If so, ask to vacate the judgment because you were never served.
