My mom received one of those calls from this collection agency and they told her she had til friday to come up with the money or they would fax a warrant for her arrest from florida to sc to have her go to jail. This bill is 6 years old. They would not give her an address nor would they except a money order. What to do? She is worried. She is 60 years old and not able to deal with alot of stress. Thank you

i remember answering this on another thread,but will answer it here.the threat of faxing a warrant is just that a threat,and a most illegal threat as well.have her file a police report as again this humanoid scammer broke the law with the threat.btw who is this piece of garbage?what is their name?file the report and have her demand something in writing before she talks to them further.then she hangs up and ignores them.btw the "we'll fax the warrant^is on par with"you are being downloaded"illegal and should be treated as such.
