I received a voice mail regarding my ex's wife.
Same as the other writer's descriptions. From Urie Cty, summons issued since a letter had been sent to her and there was no response for 30 days blah blah...
I asked how my name got on their call list for her and they said she put me down as a contact. (A little hard for me to believe!). We are talking about a woman I have never talked to and an ex who I have not spoken to since the divorce in 1986. Now I have to wonder if my ex and her are using my information for some reason or if this collections attorney is just skip tracing and tied ends together from 20 years ago, making up the story that I was put as a contact.
I was a Fraud Investigator. I know how the game works. They do not play it well at all. Burgess: never leave messages at "contacts". Speak only with real people. Call me if you need a good skip tracer - part time.
