Yes, it is true that state laws differ from state to state. However, Hanna & Associates can secure a judgment order against you even if they don't operate in your state. They can do that through domesticating judgment. If they have secured judgment order against you in their state, then they can request the local court in your state to enforce the judgment. The court will give the verdict on wage garnishment as per the state laws.
