I voluntarily surrendered 2 cars in 2009 because I lost my job and could not pay. collection agencies send me letters regarding my delinquencies and call me consistently.
I have some cash in a joint banking account with another non-relative and I have a certificate of deposit in my name. I live in florida. Can the collection agency or bank freeze my accounts?

Have they sued you yet??? SOL in florida is 5 years on this type of account. If they do get a judgment then yes, those funds could be levied.
