So make a long story short I took out an illegal payday loan and couldnt pay them back. Frontier Financial Group is saying I owe more than I know I do. Also they are saying I missed two payments instead of the one I know I missed. I keep asking for something in writing breaking down how much I owe instead of just paying them what they say I owe. Especially when what they say I owe is not what I owe. They refuse to give me a written breakdown of what I owe. What should I do?
If they will not send you a validation letter, ignore them. Don
If they will not send you a validation letter, ignore them. Don't send them any money unless they validate the debt. Most likely the PDL being illegal so is the debt collector. If you've paid back the original amount of the loan, you don't owe any more to an illegal lender. If you still owe some on the principle balance you are obligated to pay that back.
