order setting hearing

The attorney has already won....he is preparing to collect....he will show. He may even be permitted to attend by phone.

You'll have to attend the court hearing. The lawyers representing the defendant and plaintiff need to be present in the court on the scheduled date.

ok...what are the chances I can get the other party to let me set up a payment plan while we are at court? Once the attorneys get a judgement are they pretty hard to deal with? I would guess so since they had to go through all that trouble. If they get the judgement I dont mind making monthly payments. I just dont want my bank account frozen or garnishment.

just learned that the plaintiff has asked for a continuance on this and is asking to withdraw the summary judgement motion. Guess they didnt want to have to make the trip to court. Guess I will wait to see what happens next.
