Wages begin garnished by LVNV Funding

I just found out that my wages are begin garnished by some company name LVNV Funding. My payroll Department said they got a letter from the County Court to garnished my wages 25% each month for over $3,000. Can they do that? How do I know if this is a valid debit I owe? I never receive a letter or anything from this company.

Did you receive a summons??? Respond to it? Show up in court?? If not, you need to look up the case filing on your county court website. Talk to the clerk of the court to find out how and when they served you. If you were in fact not properly served, you can motion the court to have the judgment set aside for lack of service.
