Time to sue

A defendants wages were garnished by court order, but the place where he is working is not paying the garnishment. How much time do i have since the court ordered it, to sue the place where he is working.

Read through this! It can take up to 180 days for a garnishment
Read through this! It can take up to 180 days for a garnishment to be served to the employer! I cannot find a time limit afterward but there are penalties for non compliance!
