Year 2007??? that's an old one... As i'm writing this, it's Oct. 28,2009. I got a call from these guys a few days ago... they weren't able to catch me on phone so a guy left me a message. He said his name is Robert Richards and is requesting for me to call back to a phone number 1-877-471-7847...regarding a person named Jeffrey Damingso (i don't know if spelled the last name correctly) and a file # XXXXXX???
I called their number back... but none answered but a machine....i left a message and told them that i don't know what they're talking about and i don't know who the person they are referring to...i told them plainly to explain what's they're up to??? i don't intend to give them any information about me when i called them but just toa ask them who they are and what they are talking about in their call.... i think these people are a scam... i don't have a serious debt... i'm paying all of them in installments and on time... These GVA people are a SCAM, i believe.....

Sorry, but I fail to see the connection between the years mentioned in your post.
Anyway, if you're sure that you don't have a debt and they are calling for a wrong person, just tell that when they call you next time and ask to put your name on their 'do not call' list. You may also send them a cease and desist letter to make your request full proof.
