Has anyone heard of this place? They just called me at work and left this really ominous message. I'm not inclined to call them back.

ggrinc.com/

They where on Bud Hibbs agency list but the link doesn't come up. They are not a law firm and they are debt collectors.

What you should do is if they do not call you again within 5 days and if you get nothing in the mail within 5 days is to call them. Only verify your name, address and telephone number. Don't give it to them and tell them to give it to you. After that tell them they have 5 days to respond to you in writing if it's about a debt and then hang up.

After that wait for their letter and then send a debt validation letter certified mail return receipt requested. Let us know how you make out.

don't contact them. I worked with Greenberg Grant and Richards Rodney's firm and I was disappointed. They are looking only for money and right now they are sent me the second invoice after i paid them over.

This is a Commercial Collection Agency and a bunch of criminals..they make all kind of threats over the phone, they never send a letter, just threatening phone calls...they even sent me a private investigator to my office, I locked the door and never allowed him to enter my office. Report this people to the Better Business Bureau before they jump on top of your head..!

always before paying anything, state that they must send a letter stating that this is the amount owed, this is the agreed upon settlement, and when paid it will close the account.
so, if they keep the account open after you have paid it, you can dispute it on your credit report.
if you are getting harassing calls, just get a prepaid cell phone. many of them dont require that you give your personal info. i use virgin mobile and just put in info like first last (for name) and a generic address.

Good standing? these are collection accounts...write offs. Do not BS on "good standing." You work for your creditors, not the debtors.

I would like to be clear here. GGR is a commercial collection company. We solidly and solely work with companies to collect commercial accounts and provide services in recovering delinquent accounts.

We do not harass, are members of CLLA and yes, we do work with debtors in all ways possible.

If we can assist a clients' debtor in getting back on track, that is of course priority. However by time they do come to our office, they have been delinquent and we are obligated to get our client paid.

We do not do retail or consumer collections. ???report this fraudulent Collection Agency" Fortunately we are not a fraudulent collection agency. We take our job serious and respect all laws. It???s mandatory.

So again, if you feel that you have a legit dispute please contact me. We will address it immediately.

I received a phone call yesterday from a Mr. Matthew LaFollette and he led me to belive that he worked for a law firm. The bill in question does not belong to me and when I tried to explain that perhaps his client might need to rethink this bill, he laughed at me and was very condenscending. He also threw the word "fraud" around a great deal. I intend to get to the bottom of this bill; however, the process should be done in a civilized manner.

Said we owed over 7000.00 to a power company called the power company and they could not find any such charges. Called our attorney and they said don't do a thing and if the P.I. shows up ask em to leave if they dont call the police.

File a complaint with the unauthorized practice of law committee, found by google searching Texas unauthorized practice of law committee. They will follow up on your complaint and possibly file criminal charges if they are acting as attorneys.

I also have been targeted by this scam. Tomorrow the "Private Investigator" is coming to a business I sold my nephew 6 months ago to do an "asset search" (1st red flag)
Private investigators do not let anyone know they are doing an asset search. Why? If you do an asset search before litigation, it tips the debtor to transfer assets into a family members name temporarily to avoid garnishment or attachment.

The caller said he was a private investigator (2nd red flag) I checked AZDPS licensing online under his name and company name. No registration or licensure. Opps. To impersonate a private Investigator in Arizona is a felony.

He should have done his homework before he called and set up an appointment ...because...the new owner (my nephew) and I are both licensed Private investigators in Arizona. I own Maverick Investigations and have for over 20 years.

So this is what is going to happen tomorrow.

Wait..you asked why I am putting this out on the web...and maybe tipping the guy off????? Because he will never read this until it is too late. He is coming at 8am in the morning. The only way he will read this is from jail.

anyway...tomorrow. We have two video cameras set up to record his contact with us tomorrow. A digital voice recorder and Arizona Dept of Public Safety is going to be on an open cell phone line listening in to this meeting. They are haveing the local PD standing by to come in and arrest the "PI" after he says enough to incriminate himself.

Sounds fun huh?

Greenberg, Grant and Richards is one of the most professional collection firms, in the business. They would not be calling you did not have an unpaid bill or if you worked something out with them to make a few payments. I am certain that they have a network of attorney's that they use for cases in which people are unwilling to handle outside the court house. the court house equals expensive for the debtor, bottom line is if a company or person owes the money, arrange, borrow or do whatever so that you do not incur time and extra expense in court. Does this answer your question........not even sure how I stumbled upon this site....

Regardless if someone owes money or not, GGR is using illegal tactics in order to collect. Or attempt to collect , ha ha... Sorry had to laugh. If they so choose to take me to court they will have another thing coming. I will bury them with the evidence I have against them for a countersuit.

I already buried Cap1. GGR you are next.
